This exotic coffee originates from the mountainous Kintamani region of Bali. The lot is produced by the Karana collective, a community of 377 smallholder farmers guided by the Hindu philosophy 'Tri Hita Karana', which promotes harmony among people, nature, and the divine. The farms are situated on fertile volcanic soils (between the Batukaru and Agung volcanoes) at an average altitude of 1,200 meters.

Thanks to the anaerobic fermentation and volcanic soil, Bali Karana offers an intense and 'funky' sensory experience. In the cup, you will be greeted by a vibrant and complex acidity. The dominant notes are tropical, featuring mango and passion fruit, which intertwine perfectly with a distinct hint of orange (characteristic of the Kintamani region). The body is full and syrupy, with a long and sweet aftertaste.

We recommend brewing this coffee as a filter, a method that allows for a clear separation of the tropical notes and highlights its fine citric acidity.
