CONGO RACE DAY
Notes of molasses, apple tart and lemon.
This is the second year that we continue our collaboration with Alexandru “Dodo” Pițigoi, the national coastal speed champion. So, at his request, we brought this limited edition lot from the DR Congo, Dodo having had memorable adventures in this country. 10% of the proceeds will go to the Panzi Foundation in DR Congo, which supports survivors of sexual abuse. The quality of the coffee convinced us to promote it in store and online.
Here is what Dodo has to say: “During my almost three years in the DR Congo, I have grown to love the places and the people there. The hard life and the efforts farmers make to grow great quality coffee make me appreciate this natural gem near Lake Kivu in the east of the country. I am delighted that together with Guido Coffee – the people who have succeeded in finding and profiling this African delicacy so excellently – I am able, exactly 10 years after I first arrived in the DR Congo, to be able to offer coffee and motorsport enthusiasts a unique coffee.”
