Certificate training SCA Brewing Professional

Requirements for participation: successful completion of the Brewing Intermediate module and 3/6 months working experience using brewing methods.

Training duration: approximately 21 hours (divided into 3 days, 7 hours/day).

Students wishing to obtain the SCA certification diploma will take a practical test and a theoretical test (in the form of an online exam) at the end of the course. There will also be short quizzes during the course.

Training fee: 3300 RON.
SCA certification diploma fee: 500 RON.

During the training we will cover the following:

  • The roast level of the coffee and the appropriate brew method;
  • Coffee bed depth;
  • The 7 essentials for brewing;
  • Particle distribution;
  • Water: alkalinity and hardness;
  • Differences between filters;
  • Brew steps;
  • Brew analysis, extraction, concentration;
  • Bypass.
